I stood there speechless seeing the light,
So pure, so beautiful.
A new world, with so much around,
My heart gave a leap.
Leaving the old woods behind,
A fresh start i began.
Leaving my folks behind,
Went on to search new faces.
As i started my journey, strangers joined in,
Some pleasant, some afraid,
Some good, some fearless,
Some lucky, some charming.
Striving hard, climbing high,
Edgy every moment.
I walked on and on,
Sometimes fast , sometimes lone.
Remains of old wood, killing every moment,
Fresh little thorns pinching here and there.
Same bright light shining sweetly,
Faces go hither and thither.
I listen to a tune coming from far off,
Same faces run away.
Am all alone, accompanied only by the tune,
And the pure light.
Tall mountains erupt, meadows spread,
Nature with all its greenery, invite me.
Reluctant to move on,
I sit beneath the thorns and the woods.
I see a cliff, below, the violent sea singing,
The tune carries me off my path.
Carried away by the music,
My emotions choke me out.
I run like a child and the waters call me invitingly,
Overwhelmed and happily, i jump off.
The soft breeze, the cold water,
Take my breath away.
The woods, my lone traveler,
My charm, my soul,
The old woods, the beautiful tune,
All near me, looking at me.
I am freed, freed from change,
Freed from loneliness, freed from fear.
May be the same tall mountains, sprawling meadows,
A new shore waiting for me in my world.
